Systemic, Family and Organizational Constellations
Find your place in the system, free what truly belongs to you, release what is not yours.
What Family Constellations Are
Systemic Constellations are an experiential methodology that makes the hidden dynamics within a system — family, personal, organizational or corporate — visible, in order to support clarity, order, and a movement toward resolution.
Through a symbolic representation, movements, roles, and entanglements emerge — influences that shape everyday life — allowing what operates beneath the surface to be seen.

Origins of the MethodFamily Constellations were developed by Bert Hellinger, a therapist and scholar of relational systems.
Hellinger observed that many personal difficulties do not arise solely from individual experiences, but from invisible loyalties toward one’s family system — deep movements that often lead us, unconsciously, to repeat dynamics, roles, or suffering that belonged to those who came before us.
His work integrated several approaches:
- systemic psychotherapy, which considers the person within their relationships and group dynamics
- observing how participants represent elements of the system
- phenomenological observation, allowing what emerges to unfold without forced interpretation
- studies on family and transgenerational relationships, to understand how past events influence the present
Hellinger showed that when a family member is excluded, forgotten, or not acknowledged, the system tends to rebalance itself through other members, generating tensions, blocks, or repetitions of fate.
Today, the method is practiced worldwide and appears in different forms and applications.
Types of Constellations
You don’t need to know the different types in order to participate — we will suggest the most suitable approach depending on your request.
If you’re curious and would like to explore further, below you’ll find some of the main types of constellations…

Constellations share a single root — the systemic and phenomenological approach — yet they differ in modality, depth, intention, and context.
A closer look
Let’s explore some of them in more detail, to understand what they can be used for.
Classical Family Constellations
This is the original format of Hellinger’s method.
Characteristics:
- exploring the dynamics of the family system of origin
- working with roles, entanglements, and invisible loyalties
- restoring order within the system
- bringing clarity to situations that keep repeating in life (relationships, work, emotions)
When they are indicated:
- family themes
- relationships
- emotional blocks
- repetitive patterns
- feelings of “not being in one’s rightful place”
Individual Constellations
The same depth as classical family constellations, but in a one‑to‑one format (facilitator and client).
Characteristics:
- working without a group
- using objects, papers, symbols, or imaginative representations
- a more intimate and personalized rhythm
- ideal for those who prefer privacy or a more delicate setting
When they are indicated:
- highly sensitive personal themes
- inability to participate in a group
- need for more direct and individualized support
Group Constellations
The most powerful format from an energetic and phenomenological perspective.
Characteristics:
- several people represent parts of the system
- spontaneous and profound movements emerge
- the group field amplifies clarity
- you also work by observing the constellations of others
When they are indicated:
- desire for more intense work
- openness to a collective experience
- themes that benefit from the strength of the group
Spiritual / Quantum Constellations
A more subtle version of the work, oriented toward the energetic field.
Characteristics:
- working beyond the family level
- exploring archetypes, memories, and energetic blocks
- engaging with the quantum field and consciousness
- less “narrative,” more “perceptive”
When they are indicated:
- spiritual work and expansion
Systemic Constellations (Non‑Family)
These constellations are applied to systems that are not family‑related.
Characteristics:
- couple dynamics
- dynamics between friends
- work dynamics
- important decisions
- projects, companies, teams
- life choices
When they are indicated:
- gaining clarity on a project
- professional decisions
- non‑family relationships
- personal orientation (choices, direction)
Archetypal Constellations
A symbolic and profound form of work that uses archetypes, inner parts, and universal images to illuminate what moves within the psyche and the energetic field.
Characteristics:
- working with archetypes, symbolic figures, and inner parts
- exploring deep dynamics connected to the individual and collective unconscious
- representations allow access to symbolic resources, strengths, and memories
- a highly intuitive format, less linear, oriented toward the language of images and sensations
When they are indicated:
- inner work related to parts of the self (inner child, shadow, anima/animus, etc.)
- exploration of identity‑based, existential, or symbolic themes
- need to access deep resources through archetypal language
- moments of transition, transformation, or search for meaning
